Registered Physiotherapist
Working in Orthopaedic & Pelvic Health
”Treat your body like it belongs to someone you love”
The practice of pelvic floor physiotherapy is unique. For many other orthopaedic injuries we are unashamed to wear casts or slings for injuries in public and it’s uncommon for someone to ask about an injury if you have one (“how did you break your wrist?” or “how did you dislocate your shoulder?”) as if some injuries can be badges of honour. Few people talk about the pelvic floor dysfunction and I would imagine people are more hesitant to tell their friends that they leak urine when they cough- or they can’t have sex because it’s painful.
My goal as a physiotherapist is to guide my clients to become empowered in their treatment, to become stronger and more confident. I want your treatment to be accessible for you so that means that together we’ll consider all of the bits and pieces of your life and figure out how we can incorporate YOUR physio treatment in YOUR life. Not the other way around!

I love engaging with the children in a playful, holistic way to help them accomplish their developmental milestones and become successful, independent individuals in their environment. Meeting and supporting the child’s family is a significant aspect, and I feel honoured, humbled, and grateful to be entrusted with this responsibility. I am a mother of three amazing souls and know how important it is for the whole family to be supported through the ever-changing development of children.

Certified Yoga Therapist & Instructor
Allison found her love of yoga, in a hot yoga room, back in 2008. She began her practice with the intention of having a purely physical experience, however by consistently showing up on her mat, she soon learned that yoga is so much more- she began to experience a deeper connection to her true self, mind, body and spirit. She learned to ride the wave of life, and developed a deeper awareness of herself and an understanding of how we are all connected. She learned how to take the challenge and anticipation of life to a place of non-reaction, being in the moment, and becoming more in-tuned with her mind and body. This is what drew her to begin her journey as a yoga teacher, and later a yoga therapist. She completed her first yoga teacher training with Moksha (now known as Modo) Yoga in 2015, and went on to complete her training with Yoga Therapy Toronto,as a yoga therapist in 2019. Her group classes are taught from a therapeutic perspective, holding space for students to help find a deeper connection to themselves, become more in tune with their patterns, to cultivate awareness, and to be still.
In addition to group classes, Allison provides her one-on-one yoga therapy clients with an individually designed practice that meets their specific needs. She focuses her therapy on providing support from accidents and injuries, anxiety, depression, chronic stress and female health (specifically pre-natal, endometriosis, perimenopause and menopause).
